About Benton Fraser



He first came to Chicago on the trail of his father's killer and for reasons that only truly made sense in the world of television, Benton Fraser remained attached as a liaison at the Canadian Consulate there. Fraser was born to be a Mountie, like his father, the famous Robert Fraser. Over the three seasons of due South, audiences watched as a young and one might even go so far as to say naive Fraser grew learning the nuances of the city of Chicago and its inhabitants while never losing the distinct Canadian sensibility and persona he embodied.
